- 7th and 8th Grade Educational Program
The Junior High student curriculum is structured to provide an opportunity for students to be exposed to as many different subject areas as possible. In this manner they may experiment with their talents, and classes for which they have developed special talents and interests can be pursued further during their High School years.

- High School Curriculum Guide
Heritage Academy offers one scholastic diploma; all students must earn 22 credits and meet the requirements for being a high scholl graduate. Additionally, scholars are encouraged to achieve excellence beyond the requirements for graduation.

- Academic Advisors
Each scholar(student) is assigned an academic advisor to assist him/her with questions he/she may have concerning registration forward. Please contact them to make an appointment if you need assistance. Students are assigned advisors based on their last name.

- Class Schedules
Regular classes begin each school day at 8:00 am. This means the scholar (student) is to be in the classroom seated at a desk and ready for instruction. Regular days end at 3:55 pm.
Classes are Scheduled Monday through Thursday with all classes being 100 minutes long, with block classes (1 semester, 1-credit classes) meeting everyday, and all other classes meeting every other day.

- Field Trips
Field Trips are an important part of Heritage Academy's teaching process.
The insights a student can glean from this 'hands on' experience is a beneficial and fun way of absorbing knowledge. Our students come away from our trip to Washington DC, for instance, with a tremendous awe and appreciation for what our founding fathers risked for us establishing this great and free country that we are fortunate enough to live in.

Many of these selections can be read during the summer time in preparation for school. We encourage parents to involve their children in summer reading of some of these books to increase their reading skills, to better prepare for school studies, and to lighten the load during the school year.
