College Coaching Spring Seminar: Becoming the Ideal Perspective Student

- 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
This seminar is not a repeat of the information given last fall. Although the information is useful for all students, it is most pertinent for sophomores and juniors. Arizona Regents High Honors Tuition Waiver:
The Arizona Regents High Honors Tuition Waiver, also known as the AIMS Scholarship, is awarded by the Arizona Department of Education for any Arizona Public University (in state tuition only): Arizona State University, University of Arizona or Northern Arizona University. The qualifications for the scholarship are listed below, please note the updated qualifications for the current sophomore class. There is not an application for this scholarship but the student is required to apply and be enrolled at an Arizona University to receive the scholarship. The minimum scholarship amount that will be awarded is 25% of tuition costs.
- Grade of "B" or better in the 16 core competencies. (4 English credits; 4 Math credits; 3 Lab Science credits; 2 Social Science credits; 2 Foreign Language credits; and 1 Fine Arts credit.)
- GPA of at least 3.5 or top 5%
- Current Seniors for 2011-2012 school year:
- Obtain "exceeds" on all sections of the AIMS testing by the end of the Junior year
- Current Juniors school year (must do both)
- Obtain “exceeds” on all sections of the AIMS testing by the end of the Junior year.Obtain an ACT score of 28-36 or SAT score of 1300-1600.
- Scholarship amount only 25% of Tuition costs
